The varieties destined to be made into Crémant d’Alsace, are usually the first to be picked, at the very beginning of the grape-harvest, as that is when the grapes are most suitably fine and well-balanced for making Crémant.
Crémant d’Alsace is generally made from a harmonious assembly of several different varieties, each contributing to the subtle balance of the vintage.
Most Blanc de Blanc Crémants are made from Pinot Blanc, giving them a delicately supple quality.
Crémant d’Alsace provides a refined aperitif and is ideal for receptions and cocktail parties. Deliciously sparkling, it can be served to mark small celebrations just as well as great events.
